Tennessee Reproductive MedicineReal People, Real Infertility Stories: My TRM Experience

Tennessee Reproductive Medicine asked patients to share their stories because anyone facing infertility needs to hear all sides of all issues. As fertility specialists, we need to be transparent with patients about our strengths and weaknesses….about what we know and what we don’t know, about what we can do and what we can’t. Sharing infertility stories helps everyone understand how our relationship-based process leads to wonderful results.

Sheena Rowland came to TRM because she was frustrated and exhausted, trying to find the cause and solution to her infertility. As the proud mother of twins Presley and Kensley, she has an amazing story to share about her infertility journey with Dr. Rink Murray.

A Message from the Doctors and Staff at
Tennessee Reproductive Medicine:

We have asked TRM patients to share what
A Different Approach to Infertility’ means to them. Sheena agreed to be our first patient to share her story in this new web magazine called, My TRM Experience. We hope that current, future and past patients will take comfort and find community in the stories of others who walked their path with Tennessee Reproductive Medicine.

Email us at if you have a TRM infertility story to share!

Drs. Rink Murray and Jessica Scotchie,
Tennessee Reproductive Medicine

"We created My TRM Experience to help everyone with infertility challenges, no matter where they live.  Since opening in 2008, we've had patients come to TRM from all over, including Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Atlanta, and Florida.

When we ask what made patients take the journey to Chattanooga, their response is similar to many of Sheena’s sentiments…they had been told by friends or physicians that TRM was different, that Dr. Scotchie and Dr. Murray take the time to listen to their patients, and to individualize and personalize every patient’s experience so that they have the highest chance of conception."

Every journey we take with our patients is exciting, challenging, and worthwhile...
We'd like to share one of those journeys:

What we learned
